Watching:
Cleo, Camping, Dick and Emmanuelle. Not, alas, a band made up of Cleo Laine, Dick Emery, Nurse Gladys Emmanuelle and a tent pole as that would be a sight worth exchanging at least one organ for. As a play set in Sid James’ trailer, you would expect a spot of British smut, and indeed we saw Babs’ babs make a run for the wings and Kenneth Williams’ arse smiling despite its piles, but I would have liked a much larger portion. Being the youngest there by the length of an octogenarian’s crack we were quite a curiosity and were welcomed by a Major whose moustaches lapped at his jowels like a slug at a beer barrel. Extremely entertaining.
