Barny
an unfortunate rather-important-string breakage during the first song on thursday made for an unsettling start to the set, and continuing to wrestle with it in the dark on my knees during every pause in a haze of panic and mounting frustration ensured a dramatic evening for myself, and for the audience also, due to a performance from the other tulips which would have rated somewhat above average on the ferocity meter, including gymnastics, pole-dancing, crawling, snarling
note to self: bring spare guitar...
weekend spent in self-indulgence, birthday parties, film festival, japanese food, the floors (well, the spare beds actually) of various friends, araki exhibition at the barbican (pure filth, polaroids)
