Having been let down by our erstwhile drummer, Thursday’s P-unit gig was a fucked up ball of fake fur and fury. The laptop objected to being on a pounding stage and put up a valiant fight during Sad Sally, eviscerating the poor dear as if she wasn’t in enough trouble. Still, anger makes for interesting viewing I’m told. I now have many bruises of a sick canary hue.
Still, it was wonderful in its own way, as was the cricket. And the many mint-stuffed Pimms in a fancy mansion where two lovely friends looked each other in the eyes. We cried, of course and danced to Soft Cell.

Things I have learnt this week:
Angostura Bitters is poisonous, and ingesting large quantities can prove fatal.
I really REALLY need a holiday.
