PRESS AND GIGS: The flyer for 29 September is now available for download*. It doesn't really count as press we don't think, but nevertheless we like Unpeeled's description of us:
THE BLACK TULIPS are known to you and you and you in the cool t-shirt and are comprised 60% Brighton brats n bitches and 40% from the festering seaside sore that is Hastings. Not that this has stopped several record labels scrambling after them. Luckily, it hasn't stopped them coming out to play tonight either, so we get some twisted, mangulated, clasically crippled rock stylings dragged backwards through pop's darkest filters. Theirs is a place where Roxy Music are satanists and guitars can fire round corners.
And by the way, it's £3.50 for concessions, and has its own forum topic.
