PRESS: Organ Magazine has made The Black Tulips EP its demo of the week.

THE BLACK TULIPS - We met an unlikely demo, intelligent and witty, nobody thought they'd go so far - she sounds slightly unhinged, she likes to take tea, she sounds like David Bowie, she could stitch our little hearts in to her hands - a girl had a notion that she wanted to fly…. Slightly edgy, rather eccentric, very English spiky pop from the slightly darker side of the street…. Make me love you, make me love you, make me love you…. Two girls, two boys, some striking scalpel sharp (we stole the scalpel sharp bit from their biog) pointy scratchy uncompromising, glamourous, mysterious and wonderfully different - literary and loquacious, get out your dictionary and untangle it all with the enhancement of a wonder bra, if we knew them we'd let them hold us close - eloquent and vulgar, will and shy... Let us take more tea in celebration of something rather special….
